1. Overview

Welcome to EkklesiaHQ. By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

EkklesiaHQ provides a cloud-based church and ministry management platform including volunteer scheduling, people management, check-in systems, inventory tracking, communication tools, and analytics. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Accounts & Organizations

You must be at least 18 years old to create an organization account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Organization owners are responsible for managing user access and permissions within their organization.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscription & Billing

A 14-day free trial is available for new organizations. No credit card is required during the trial period.
After the trial, the subscription is $10 per month, billed through our payment provider.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, or international law.
Upload or store malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' data.
Share your account credentials or resell access to the Service without authorization.
Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers used to provide it.

6. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consents to store and process the personal information of individuals within your organization. We process data on your behalf in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

EkklesiaHQ, its logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of EkklesiaHQ. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission. Content you upload remains your property.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless required by law to retain it longer.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EkklesiaHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
